This is actually a casualty model from Meridian Miniatures, but as I don’t usually use a casualty models, I thought I could get away with converting it to an HMG model.

Meridian Militia Commander
Nice top hat, nice watch and an interesting steampunk enhanced walking stick.
Meridian Gunbots
These little dudes remind me of the Silent Running robots but with guns. These will definitely be added to the British steampunk army. Andrew May of Meridian Miniatures had a load of these at Salute last month along with the walking teapot shown off a while ago.
Meridian Engineer
I went for the yellow safety helmet approach for this Meridian Engineer, you can’t be too careful in the steampunk world.
Meridian Soundsmith
I have completed a whole bunch of the Meridian Militia models, including this chap with some sort of sound contraption.
Devourers
In another game of Dragon Rampant, I fielded a Devourer warband with the various models counting as three or four wounds each, which seemed appropriate as they are very large beasties.
The Flesh Eaters are definitely the best of the Devourer models and a three model elite unit as Heavy Foot fits the model profile nicely.
6mm Mechs
As I mentioned before, these two old Battletech Mechs have been in the Loft Full Of Lead for a ridiculously long time, they were actually still in their blister packs. I could not believe what they go for on eBay, but I have always liked the Madcat in particular so it was going to get painted for Horizon Wars no matter what.
As the profile rules in Horizon Wars are entirely up to players, I can run either of these Mechs as Medium or Heavy.
Mugello 2016
This is what a blown up Yamaha M1 engine looks like. And the race was shaping up nicely to be an epic duel with Lorenzo.
Control Panel
With the Aircraft Carrier project starting off slowly, I wanted to have a go at making a control panel. I can see that I will need quite a few of these in various places around the bridge and a couple of other places.
I kept the first one quite simple, it is a bit lower than I will be making for the carrier as it had to fit onto the bridge of my Aeroneff.
As a first attempt, it is not too bad.
Carrier Lift
I have decided not to make a lift that goes up and down, it is just too much hassle. So I have removed the mechanism and built up the platform to plug the hole. Lazy.
