After the release of the UNA and Therian army lists for Dust Warfare, I want to get the Karman ready as soon as possible, so I have started on a army list over at the Dust – AT43 Custom Fan Rules Facebook page.
This is some of the Karman army, a few more trikes and two more Mammoths are not shown, so there is plenty of scope for a Dust Warfare army.
As all the Karman are quite large models and heavily armoured, all of the units will be two or three
man gorilla units with Damage Resilient ability. As the majority of models are armed twin ZZ guns on at least one arm, I have started with the Axis MG44 Zwei weapon profile but removed the anti-aircraft ability. Just need some feedback on Fakebook.
Did a simple Gun Metal paint job on a couple of magnetised weapons for the Antenocitis Nova-Rus “Bear” 4×4 Jeep. There are now four weapons for this vehicle.
I do think I want a few more of these vehicles. I fancy a convoy of these “Hummer” style vehicles, some with support weapons and a couple as troop transports.
It is the last week of the Ramshackle Kickstarter for their Battle Dog and Püg. I like this small tank and have opted for a squadron!
The shot above is an earlier version, the final models will have a lowered turret ring and an extended hull to the rear of the tracks.
The picture on the right shows some of the evolution taking place during the Kickstarter following backers feedback. The sponsons can be replaced with full length armoured plates if required, but I prefer the sponsons, who wants armour when you can have more guns!
These models will be used in one of my No Limits forces and may even get profiled for a role in my AT-43 UNA army.
The end is nigh, the last of the Dust Allied models is underway. The bunker with some very heavy Phasers is on the painting table, although this is actually a shelf…
The bunker has been undercoated grey ready for a simple camouflage paint scheme. The crew should be pretty quick to finish as well. The bunker will double up nicely for general WWII games such as Bolt Action or other games such as AT-43 or Secrets of the Third Reich.
This is an Antenocitis Nova-Rus “Bear” 4×4 Jeep, but that sounds a little too Russian for me and I want to use this in my North American based forces, so I have renamed it for my games as a Kodiak.
This should see use with my Dust Allies, AT-43 UNA, Secrets of the Third Reich US Forces and various near future forces.
I think the only thing it needs are some generic transfers, nothing to denote a faction, but a few registration numbers and random symbols.
Shown here with its very big gun!
The Army Painter green undercoat grained something terrible, so the model feels really rough. But after plenty of ink and drybrushing, the surface has mellowed a bit.
I picked up this Antenocitis Nova-Rus “Bear” 4×4 Jeep at Salute for use in my AT-43 UNA force as well as general sci-fi and near future (or past) games and maybe even Dust.
I wanted to make the weapon mount capable of taking lots of different weapons and so drilled and fixed 2mm magnets to all the bits. The weapon shown above is by Ground Zero Games and is perhaps a little big for a vehicle this size, but what the heck…
