I do like making some very large models, sometimes just painting 28mm figures is not quite enough, they need something big to fight over, or indeed in, or from, you know what I mean.
So here are a few of the large projects I have undertaken with a pictorial log of where it started and how it ended up.
I had this old Star Wars hull in the loft for more than twenty years with a plan to one day convert it into a large lander for 40K and other sci-fi games. I wanted a detailed interior and to add some illumination.
The third of my Playmobil ship conversions and the most complex. I think it took about six months do do on and off with some pretty slow going at times, especially when making loads of green stuff decorations from one mold.
The Aeroneff was my first foamboard scratch build. I learnt a lot from this, especially that new scalpel blades are essentail to getting cuts that are actually straight and will glue together.
This is a major undertaking and currently on hold as it is just too big at the moment to complete.
