Part of the unending rebasing project includes some old Pink and Blue Horrors. These were painted a very long time ago and really need a bit of work.
When they are done, they will get used in plenty of games, such as Kill Team, Warcry, Oathmark and Laser Bayonet.

Rebasing Part 1
I sometimes wonder why I start some of these projects, rebasing and touching up the paintwork on these old Empire models seemed like a good idea at the time…
A Lot Of Chaos
Another of the long term projects is my mish-mash Chaos army for Oathmark and other fantasy games. I seem to have a lot of models that can be classed as semi-chaos and have so far I have made a large pile…
Some are painted and need rebasing and a refresh whilst loads more have no paint and so need a lot more work!
In the trays shown here there are Dark Age Slaves, Koralon slug creatures, Confrontation Chaos Dwarves, Games Workshop Chaos Knights and a few Lost models from Helldorado.
I am trying to just do one unit at a time, starting with the easy wins, getting things rebased and touched up.
Mummies
In a couple of months, the next book in The Silver Bayonet series will be released, this time focusing on Egypt.
So, we can guess there will be mummies.
I have a couple of old lead models, and a bunch of plastics from Heroquest.
Although they are not particularly detailed plastic models, for a unit of deads guy in bandages, they will do.
Flagellants
After my rebasing of the Flagellants, and an ink wash, they have proved useful in games of The Silver Bayonet.
I have been using them as Cultists and created a slightly better profile for a Cult Champion.
I have had these models for decades and it is great to actually find a new use for them.
They will also be turning up in an Empire styled Oathmark army at some stage.
There will be only ten, I do not fancy trying to find and but ten more on eBay, I suspect they would not be cheap.
I like all the poses of these models, they all look suitably insane and angry.
I really like this last chap with the gag, his mates have obviously had enough of his particular brand on insanity.
Chaos Army Building
Over the decades, I have accumulated a lot of Chaos style models from all sorts of games, some are not necessarily Chaos in the Games Workshop sense, but suitable anyway.
A few have had accidents, which I mostly blame on cats, and plenty more have just been shuffled to the back of painting queues for years and years.
Starting with models that were painted years ago, I am planning to rebase/reflock and touch up the paint a bit before they all get an ink wash.
I also need to actually sort these out into actual units, making sure I have 10, 15 or 20 for valid unit sizes.
One day, this will be an Oathmark army…
Heresy Demons
These are some of the very old Heresy Demons that were used in The Silver Bayonet scenario “Incursion”.
I don’t know how long I have had them, but they needed rebasing, a bit of a touch up and an ink wash to make them half decent.
There are nine more in the Loft Full Of Lead that are built but have never been painted so I am using the opportunity to finish them all off and make a nice big unit for various fantasy rules.
Rebasing Flagellants…Again
These nutters have been up in the Loft Full Of Lead for a few decades. With our current games of The Silver Bayonet needing some Cultists, I thought I would repurpose them. Years ago they were on square bases but many years later I rebased them onto (Warmachine) display bases.
So now I have rebased them again, for the last time, onto 25mm round bases. They also got an ink wash and they look much better.
Planning ahead, as I have ten of these, I can use them as a unit of something in Oathmark.
Not Thirty Halberdiers
So when I actually opened the box, I found there were only 16 on sprue in the box along with an unopened lead command blister. Now the conundrum is that I could paint them up as 16 in the same pose is a bit less mind numbing…or they do go on eBay.
Maybe I will just put them back in the Loft Full Of Lead and think about it.
Oldhammer Empire Halberdiers
I don’t think I will be painting these. Not sure my brain can handle 30 models in the same pose!
