So after the block painting comes the ink.
I may yet go back and fill in the skull eye sockets with black paint, but basically it is finished.
This is a great sculpt, maybe a bit smaller than I was expecting, but I really like the quality of Wargame Exclusive models. I must order some more!
By the time I had finished slapping paint onto the resin Inquisitors car, it was a lot less black and grey than I thought it was going to be. Needs inking.
This resin Inquisitor Car from Wargame Exclusive is a great looking model, another I have been delaying in painting.
Being of a Batmobile type design, I thought I would paint it black, but black is such a hard colour to do. So I decided on dark Panzer Grey instead…which is nearly black…
After a long cold and damp winter, a window of opportunity to undercoat the beast was approaching.
I still had a couple of last gasp decisions to make, I had been undecided on which sort of vertical thrust engine nozzles to use.
In the end I went for the larger of the types I made made.
I also added a recess to the upper hull and a couple of what can be called missiles. Although bits of sprue would be a more accurate description.
With all the engine nozzles finally glued on, it is looking pretty good.
I added more than a few rivets…
I still really like the rear view, the engine configuration looks great.
So now it is ready for undercoating.
Mr Steinberg has completed his Navy Skyship for Steam Wars, just brilliant!
The model is from Blotz and is one of a range of steampunk flying ships.
This Black Mamba Allied Dust aircraft was shown in an online magazine some time ago but apparently will not be out for quite some time.
Shame really, as it is a great looking plane and this is about the only model left that I would buy from the Dust range, mainly because I have loads of other stuff already…
