Although the base is not done and transfers have not been added, I am parking the first Questoris Knight for the moment. I want to come back to the bases when all the Knights are painted so they can have some sort of consistent theme. The same goes for adding the transfers and making sure I have enough of each type to go where I want them.
One lesson learnt is not to spend much time painting the Knights head as it will be covered bu with the helmet. It is a shame really as I was quite pleased with the eye lenses and the shading…

Transformers Dropship
A good few years ago, I acquired an old Transformers toy space ship. This thing opened up into a playset and had quite a bit of extra gubbins inside. I removed all of the excess guff and then glued the whole thing closed.
When I first bought my airbrush and compressor, I experimented on this model trying a few different colours and seeing how easy (or not) the airbrush was to use.
As it was lying around in the way, I decided to finish it off by picking out a bit of detail here and there and then giving it an ink wash. It will get used as scenery, or if it is lucky, a dropship for something…
New Tauros Venator
Games Workshop are releasing a new vehicle for the Enforcers. Looks like it fits the Ash Wastes vibe nicely.
At least all of my Enforcers are painted, unlike the Van Saar gangers.
May have to add this to my shopping list.
Leviathan Carapace
The carapace for the Leviathan Crusader was finished a few weeks ago to easily allow access to the battery and switch inside the torso.
With a few pins and a bit of glue, the two shoulder pads have been fitted to the central carapace.
A couple of magnets have also been added inside the carapace so some extra weapon options can be included.
The eye lights look good and I reckon they were worth the extra effort.
A Few Imperial Knights
One of my winter projects is to finally finish my 40K Imperial Knights.
I had undercoated the skeleton structures some time ago, and I have decided on a green and yellow colour scheme for the armour. Got the yellow done, just need to do the green and then start the huge task of finishing the four large knights and four smaller Armigers.
Leviathan Crusader Problem
Even though I built this bad boy a few years ago, I have only recently painted it. I also thought it would be a good idea to add a couple of LED eye lights, you know, just for fun…
And the lights work well. I even attached a light switch to the back of the torso to make switching them on and off nice and easy.
But, and it is a big but, after I have painted all of the armour and added the lights inside the torso, I then found that the top armour section needs to be fitted BEFORE the two shoulder pauldrons are glued on. This means I can’t remove the top section to switch the lights on and off. Damn…
Fakenought
Mr Steinberg threw a fake Dreadnought my way as he had a selection of these things from some dodgy manufacturer.
I will have to do something with this for a Grimdark Future force…
Brass Coffin
For ages I had wanted one or Ramshackle Games Bross Coffins and I did finally get one and paint it up.
I did a pretty basic metallic paint job and it came out okay really.
The bit of brass was kind of essential as it is in the name and brightens up the model nicely!
Whats On The Table?
I am doing a very simple paint job on this Dust Axis Jagdluther, except for the effort taken to paint all the rivets!
I need to ink and drybrush it…
Siege Crawler
It looks a bit clean, but it has just rolled off the production line for my Steampunk British Army.
